Maio é um dos meses mais bonitos no jardim. Todas as manhãs vou espreitar se as rosas e as papoilas já abriram e, quando aparecem as primeiras, é uma emoção. E há anémonas, rododendros, hera nova e tenra, íris… até o cebolinho está em flor. O pico da Primavera é mesmo especial.
May is one of the most beautiful months in the garden. Every morning I check on the roses and popies to see if they’ve already bloom and when the first flowers appear, what a thrill! And there are anemones, new, tender ivy, irises… even chives are in flower. The peak of Spring is very special indeed.

Estive este fim-de-semana nos arredores de Bristol, no campo, e vi pela primeira vez papoilas como estas … “gigantes” e com as cores mais inesperadas … sou muito fã do campo inglês … já tenho saudades!
