Tinha planeado mostrar-vos o quilt que fiz para a nossa sobrinha recém-nascida mas, por engano, apagámos as fotografias antes de as passarmos para o computador… que frustração! Ainda por cima, o quilt foi enviado para Bruxelas… agora só quando formos visitar o bebé é que o poderei voltar a fotografar…
I had planned showing you the quilt I made for our newborn niece but, by mistake, we erased the pictures before uploading them to the computor… I can’t believe it! I’m so frustrated. The quilt has reached Brussels by now so I’ll only be able to photograph it again when we go visit the baby…
Vou então dedicar o post de hoje a mais uma actividade de Primavera: jardinar. No domingo passado o tempo esteve óptimo e passei a tarde a semear flores (girassóis, chagas, ervilhas-de-cheiro) e a transplantar ervas aromáticas. Neste momento, a nossa casa-de-jantar mais parece um viveiro de plantas.
So I’m going to dedicate this post to another Springtime activity: gardening. Last Sunday I spent the afternoon outside sowing flower seeds (sunflowers, narturtiums and sweet peas) and potting on herbs. Now our dining room looks like a plant nursery.

Sweet Peas? It was one of my mother's favorites and unfortunately I have lived in an apartment setting so I've never had any success with them growing in containers. Any advice is appreciated.
