Segui a sugestão da Rosa e fui visitar a casa de botões da Rua dos Remédios, em Alfama. Que perdição! Milhares de botões vintage “à séria” (com o correspondente pó de 30 anos – quando cheguei a casa fui logo lavá-los). Que bom ainda existirem sítios tão autênticos.(Obrigada ao Tiago pelas fotografias!)
I followed Rosa’s suggestion and went looking for the button shop in Alfama (Lisbon). What a dream! Thousands of “real” vintage buttons (and 30 years of dust – when I got home I hurried to wash them). Genuine places like this one are great. (Thank you Tiago for the photos!)
