Are you familiar with Béatrice Peltre‘s work? Maybe I’m the last person on Earth to discover the blog of this French lady living in the USA… She’s a food photographer and stylist and — cherry on top of the cake! — she even cooks the things she shoots. And she provides us with the recipes!

And today I received a yummy cake inside a very cute and very pink box, that I opened wishing I could become a child again and play with dolls, tea sets, pots and pans (these last items were my favourite toys… who would have thought later on I would hate cooking?). Isn’t the cake wonderful?

I placed it on the button self, above the sewing machine, where I can see it everyday.
