Boneco Waldorf :: Waldorf Doll

Acabei o boneco Waldorf uns dias antes de o Pedro ter nascido. A minha mãe fez o cabelo (obrigada, mãe!) e eu acrescentei alguns confortos à vida dele: um colchão, uma manta, uma cama, um biberon e até um carrinho de passeio (tanto a cama como o carrinho foram comprados em 2ª mão num mercado aqui nas redondezas). Ainda não lhe fiz roupa, mas isso virá a seu tempo.
No primeiro mês de vida do Pedro, o Rodrigo não ligou nenhuma ao boneco. Mas neste fim-de-semana passado tudo mudou: o boneco foi passeado, apertado, lavado e alimentado. Tem muita graça vê-lo a repetir aquilo que fazemos com o Pedro.

I finished the Waldorf doll a few days before Pedro was born. My mother crocheted the wig (thanks, mum!) and I added some comforts to his life: a mattress, a quilt, a bed, a bottle and even a pushchair (both the bed and the pushchair were bought second hand at a local market). I still haven’t sewn any clothes for him but I know I’ll do that eventually.

During Pedro’s first month, Rodrigo didn’t pay any attention to the doll. But this past weekend he suddenly took an interest and the doll was fed, changed, cuddled and pushed around the house. It’s so funny to watch him mimic what he sees us doing with Pedro.
